My story

My name is Lena Koskela. I’m the founder of Laine Marketing in Brighton.

I’ve spent 10+ years working in marketing, telling stories to brands like Mooncup, NBC Universal and British Airways i360. I decided to take all the marketing knowledge I had gained over the years and help other ambitious, small businesses to grow and succeed.

I’ve seen so many amazing, small businesses struggle with their marketing. I get it, today’s online world is a minefield. Yes, there is a YouTube tutorial for any area of marketing you could ever imagine. But it’s like me trying to fix our plumbing with the help of YouTube videos - it didn’t get the results I was hoping for. I should’ve called in the pros to help me get it right!

Over the years, I’ve done both B2B and B2C marketing. I've worked with many creative, marketing and PR agencies.

My goal was for Laine Marketing to be a one-stop powerhouse agency - one I would have actually wanted to work with myself. A customer-obsessed, no-nonsense marketing expert without expensive retainers or empty promises.

I want to have an honest and transparent relationship with my clients. I’m mum to an 8-year-old - I’ve heard it all. More results, less bullsh*t.
