To become successful in business, you need to be obsessing over your customers. Talk to them - not as a salesperson, but as a journalist. How can you better serve their needs and solve their problems? What is their journey to become your customer?

I love talking to people, finding out what makes them tick and to pick one thing over another. And let me tell you a secret. You won’t find it out by asking them “Why did you choose x over y?”. Because often, we humans aren’t that honest. Not because we are big old liars. Often, we don’t really know what internal needs and wants trigger us to make decisions. The only way to find out?
