Everyone hates old-fashioned marketing: spammy, mediocre and manipulative sales pitches; the marketing jargon, boring ads, big retainers, and vague results. That's not how I work.

I have spent over a decade marketing big and small brands, both B2B and B2C. It's time to use my powers for good and help ambitious small businesses with amazing products to do better. 

I believe in honest and transparent business partnerships. I am a mum of an 8-year old so I'm used to hearing it all - no sugar coating needed!

You can subscribe to my services (I'm not a fan of "retainers"). Together we will create a marketing strategy and plan for your business. My role may include managing your social ads, email marketing, digital marketing and creating blogs for your website - or maybe just one of those things. We will meet on a regular basis to tweak your strategy and execution.

Social media strategy & management

Social media can be a time drain, believe me, I know. And with its constantly changing algorithms and trends, it’s hard to know what you should focus on to grow your brand. Do you need to be on TikTok? It depends. Do you need a presence on social media? Absolutely.

Social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn - you know the drill) ads are still one of the cheapest ways of getting your brand or company in front of thousands of eyeballs. Social media advertising at its best is targeted and engaging. It doesn't have to cost a fortune either. 

I can do a paid social media strategy for your company, help to create authentic and attention-grabbing visuals and to set up, optimise and manage the ads.

I have years of experience working with influencers. Building partnerships with the right influencers can genuinely help build credibility and trust in your brand.

Because marketing without a strategy is like driving blind: you’re unlikely to get where you want to be. And well, it’s just reckless, isn’t it? Email is probably the best way to consistently grow your brand: create engagement with your customers and nurture leads. But you need to do it right. I can help you to create (and write if you so wish) an email marketing strategy for your business, including automated strings of emails sent to new leads and those sales emails that get people clicking.

Branding 

Your branding is who you are as a business. What sets you apart from others? Who are your customers? What’s your secret sauce? This might be totally clear to you, and shine through everything you do. Or you might feel like you need a little help in clarifying it.

I can help you sharpen your brand, and create brand guidelines for you and your partners to use so that your customers know what to expect when they come to you.

Copywriting & Content writing

Copywriting and content writing are key to building trust, authority and customer connection. Good content (website copy, blogs, case studies, whitepapers, press releases, product descriptions etc.) will tell the story of your business or brand. It helps you elevate your business above others - and it helps you rank higher on Google.

 

Copywriting is the art of persuasion. The goal of copywriting is to convert. A good copywriter (yes, me!) uses empathy to build a connection with your customer. They help to solve problems and inspire action. Website SEO (Google ranking)

I don’t need to tell you why ranking higher on Google and other search engines is important to a small business. SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) brings more quality leads to your website. It builds authority and brand awareness and makes your website more user-friendly.

I can help you improve your website SEO. I will start with a full review and fix any existing issues on your site. I will then put together a list of actions and keywords to further improve your ranking. You can then go on and action those yourself. Or if you want my support, I’m here for you.

Customer insight

To become successful in business, you need to be obsessing over your customers. Talk to them - not as a salesperson, but as a journalist. How can you better serve their needs and solve their problems? What is their journey to become your customer? 

I love talking to people, finding out what makes them tick and to pick one thing over another. And let me tell you a secret. You won’t find it out by asking them “Why did you choose x over y?”. Because often, we humans aren’t that honest. Not because we are big old liars. Often, we don’t really know what internal needs and wants trigger us to make decisions. The only way to find out? Talk to your customers and ask the right questions. Don’t know what those questions are or where to start? I will help.

Events marketing 

Would you like to organise an event (webinars, conferences, parties and pop-up shops all count!) to connect with your customers and bring in more leads? Or have you already put up a virtual or in-person event and need to tell people? Great events entertain and engage prospective customers. They’re a great way of building a personal and emotional connection - and yes, that is important for B2B as well. We’re all still people.
